Railway Avenue is a Victorian semi detached property situated in Whitstable, Kent. The client approached PBA with the ambition to extend and modernise their family home. The design comprised of a contemporary rear single storey extension which created a modern galley kitchen and family seating area. The rear extension connected well with the rear garden and benefitted from a vaulted ceiling with roof lights over.
A number of design options were considered with the client and, once agreed, these were prepared and submitted for planning permission. Following approval, we created the building regulation drawings and specification in liaison with a structural engineer.
