The client approached PBA with the ambition to extend and renovate their property. We proposed a design which utililised the driveway to the side of the house by included a two storey side extension and a single storey rear extension. The works also included an overhaul of the existing house.
The new ground floor layout introduced an open plan galley kitchen, family living area, and new dinning space, all connected to the rear garden. Extensive demolition and structural works were also proposed with the addition of a new staircase to allow a new cloakroom. The reorganisation of the first floor added a new master bedroom with ensuite positioned away from the busy road, and a new family bathroom.
For this project PBA produced design options to discuss with the client, then once agreed, prepared and submitted the planning application. Following approval, we created the building regulation drawings and specification in liaison with a structural engineer.
